Doug in very missed in our family. My children and I talk about him alot threw the years, little things that remind us of him. You will never be forgotten Doug and I thank you for the great frienship you had with Andrew.
Thank you, Lynda and ronnie. And, Ms. cat, marking the milestones is kind of a group effort. It was touching to notice over on Facebook how many "friends" changed their mugshots to ones that included Doug today.
And I don't think that Brian or I will ever let October first go unmarked without the other one noticing -- so it ain't going to happen.
A Satchel of Ordinary Treasure contains accounts of day-to-day life in the early 20th century in Upstate New York. Posts will be taken mostly from family members' reminiscences.
PicShers contains one post and picture for each day of the year from the Harrington images archive. More images from the archive (and current ones) can be found on my Flickr photostream.

So sorry, Sherwood. Keep marking these milestones. They're important.

Happy birthday. Replay one of the really good ones.
Miss you brother.
I've got nothing to say, but wanted to say it anyway. Just a quiet sit on Doug's bench.
