Defiance Redux

Doug's old band, Defiance, is at it again. They are in the finishing stages of production of their first new album in years, and you can get a tiny taste of it below, in a video taken in studio by the lead guitarist's, Jim Adams's, wife, Siobahn.

Jim was always, and continues to be, just damn good.

Here's Jim, laying down some lead tracks. This ain't no flying-V ukelele player, folks.

At the risk of making a classic understatement - he's really good.

That's some kick-ass guitar!

Makes me feel 17 again.

Well thank you all very much for the kind words! I'm looking forward to getting this album out for all to hear.

Jim tells me the back-up vocals record this week.

The boys were kind enough to agree to let me sit in on the session.

Doesn't hurt that Doug and I sounded almost identical.

Does hurt that neither of us could sing our way out of a wet paper bag.

Hope I don't disappoint.

Wish me luck, I'll need it.

If you can sound "almost identical" to Bud Kroeger, Adam, you can sound almost identical to anybody.

Jim, thanks for showing up here! Be good to Doug's little brother, eh?

(Heh...)
