It’s November 14th Again, Isn’t It?

Jan67

“HEY now, Popsie! Bet I could do that!” Douglas M. and Sherwood Harrington, January, 1967. Photo by Lynn Harrington.

Doug left us four years ago today. Between the above photo and then, he actually did manage to learn to play the guitar.

Just a little bit.

A tough day for memories, but a good kid to remember.

What a great moment to capture in a picture, considering where Doug took his life. He looks totally absorbed - you can almost see the music synapses forming!

Thinking of yall today.

Now that is a perfect moment in life - you gave him that gift - and he gave it many many times, to you and to others ---

Yeah, I'm sure you could -- but that would be a little like Mick Jagger playing rhythm guitar. He CAN do it, and he DID do it with the band for a while, but it just didn't look right. You've got a different instrument.
